- It is very user unfriendly, in my opinion. No Menu Bars, meaning, less use friendliness.
- When you close with multiple tabs, it wont warn you. There is no where you can configure it to ask you a warning question.
- Even if a download is going on, it will happily cancel the download. [actually this is what made me to write this post. I was downloading a file for more than 35 minutes and I accidentally closed Chrome and it cancelled the download. Bull shit.]
- There is no Google Search Bar. Actually if you type anything in the address bar, if it is not a valid url, it will do a Google search. I didn't know this for some time.
- No addons or plugins.
But I also have to tell the cool things about this Chrome.
- It loads very faster. It is very thin. If you want to open a browser the next second you click the icon, Chrome is your toy.
- The progress of page loading looks cool. The overall GUI is very cool.
- It has in built download manager I think so. Downloads are done pretty fast.
- It is a product of Google.
- Instead of boring useless about:blank page, it shows thumbnails of recently visitated pages.
- It is very small in size and easy to download.
That is it. Your views are most welcome.

I also installed chrome and it seems to be cool to me. Well as to the fact that there is no google search tab and the address bar itself searches in google is rather a cool feature.
yes boss! Lot to say..
First why should Google ditch Firefox? They actually did not. The relationship between Mozilla and Google is until 2011. What will Google do after that, they are futuristic and started working on their own browser. Also Google is 101% web based company, so browser is a key component for them. Writing the best code for the coolest algorithm, they din want the browser to work badly on their code. So they needed customization. Also having a browser is a first indirect killer blow against MS.
"It is very user unfriendly, in my opinion. No Menu Bars, meaning, less use friendliness." - We are bad in adopting some thing new. :) We crib that its bad.
"There is no Google Search Bar. Actually if you type anything in the address bar, if it is not a valid url, it will do a Google search. I didn't know this for some time." - this is really cool thing. Saves lot of time. :)
No addons or plugins. - www.cromium.org source code is available for us to play around. :)
Instead of boring useless about:blank page, it shows thumbnails of recently visitated pages - this is copied from a FF plugin.
It is very small in size and easy to download. - I don think so, after opening the installer, it downloads the actual browser from web. I guess the installer acts as an agent. Just use wireshark and watch your network traffic.
After all its yet another beta.. :)
There was a little trouble opening java enabled sites initially like Citibank virtual keyboard until I figured out it needs Java 6... After that it was blazing fast and i loved it... But my PC went into BSOD several times, precisely when I was buffering some video, and the the PC went into standby, and if i switched it back on, it used to boom :(... Also, if I have IE along with it open, then my system would drag... This is funny: "I have a shortcut in my quick launch to IE and Chrome, I put Chrome in IE's place, then after reboot IE kept on coming back to its original position on top of the list moving chrome to the end"... but BSODs increased and I uninstalled it as I was not sure what caused it... Just waiting for some more improvements to get back to Chrome as I just love google!!!
@Natraj:
The fact that address bar itself is a search bar is really cool. I accept it. But it is not documented? or I didn't see carefully? But as I told you, my loyalty towards Google has reduced a lot. I start loving Yahoo :)
@Vijesh:
Wow... you prove to be a geek. Your comment was very helpful and useful Vijesh. Also, my reply to Natraj holds good for you also :)
@Bharadwaj:
That was quite an information Bharadwaj. I never had any trouble using Chrome. In fact I am typing this comment using Chrome only. Chrome sucks only when you download anything. But due to business reasons, we have to love and support Yahoo :) so, the fact that you had uninstalled Chrome is really good. :) But blogspot is again google's product or at least sponsored I think. Should I move to wordpress?

This talks on how to use the Address bar for all. :)

[P.S: I like the way you had put that comment moderation is ON and it would take some time for the comments to appear on the site. Mostly I come to know the comment moderation is ON only after submitting the comment. Like it would happen in my blog now. This looks polite & good.]
